He then completed advanced fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Shoulder, and Elbow Surgery at the Campbell Clinic–University of Tennessee, where he gained extensive experience in cutting-edge minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques, as well as complex reconstructive procedures.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Schatz has contributed to orthopaedic research and education. He authored “Superior Labral Anterior to Posterior Tears: Repair, Tenodesis, or Both?” and co-authored a manuscript in AAOS Now examining the role of navigation and robotics in shoulder arthroplasty.
